Venezuela urges again the EU to desist in attempts to meddle in internal affairs

Venezuela again urges the European Union (EU) to maintain a position of respect and constructive equilibrium, to desist in its attempts to meddle in internal affairs and issue unacceptable threats, as well as desist from its attempts to hinder the peaceful mechanisms of solution that they carry out in these moments, which are unquestionably accompanied by the great majority of Venezuelans.
This is clear from the official communiqué of the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela published by the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, in his account on the Twitter social network @jaarreaza.
The document emphasizes that at this moment in which synderesis is vital for an atmosphere of dialogue in Venezuela, the EU seems committed to maintaining a conflict as a formula to make politics, even contradicting the good spirit of approach of the Special Adviser, Mr. Enrique Iglesias, during his visit to the Bolivarian nation, and betting instead on an attempt to assume a position of support for the destabilizing factors, which disables any initiative such as the self-styled International Contact Group.

“#COMMUNIQUÉ | Venezuela rejects statements by the High Representative of the European Union, Federica Mogherini, for meddling once more in internal affairs and proffering unacceptable threats, at a time when synderesis is vital for the dialogue between Venezuelans”.
