“We have reached the deployment in the 24 states of the country, as we have been able to observe that of the 3,133 Food Houses, 1,723 have been contacted and rehabilitated; likewise we have touched 932 Missions Bases of the 1,005 bases in the whole country, with 31,228 brigadeers and more than 15,000 spokespersons of the People’s Power incorporated”, informed the sectoral vice-president for the Social and Territorial Development Aristóbulo Istúriz, when offering his balance weekly from the headquarters of the Ministry of People’s Power for Education.
Also, the holder of the sectoral portfolio for Social and Territorial Development, said that 416 people in street situation have been captured and have rehabilitated 209 Missions Bases with the Great Mission Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor, “so we started the process to rehabilitate 200 more; if in a month we achieve that figure, the idea is that we have 400 Mission Bases rehabilitated in two months”.
In this opportunity, this work meeting integrated all the social teams of all the states through the videoconference, where “we heard the participation of the different states and the work they have been doing in their different territories. This new and extraordinary meeting will be held every 15 days, so that we can listen and know the positive results of our deployment”, commented Istúriz about this new work methodology.
Likewise, Istúriz announced that the deployment of the social cabinet will attend between July 18 and 21 the states of Cojedes, Falcón, Mérida, Monagas Margarita and Caracas.
Poliomyelitis dose:
Istúriz, said that on Sunday, July 14, began the National Vaccination Campaign against Poliomyelitis in the country, aimed at the protection of infants under six years old.
This program will be developed in popular clinics, Integral Diagnostic Centers (CDI), as well as care centers of the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security and the Institute of Social Assistance and Welfare of the Ministry of Education (Ipasme), where the attention of “3,168,981 children from 2 months to 5 years old, and there are 7,124 vaccination posts in the process of progressing towards the eradication of polio, a day that will culminate on August 11”, said Istúriz.
Human rights:
Istúriz emphasized that the Venezuelan people has given a strong response and unconditional support to President Nicolás Maduro before the report presented by the High Commissioner of the United Nations Organization of Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, published on July 5.
“In this meeting we had a central point of discussion, especially with that strong response that President Maduro and the people gave him when faced with the results of a report that is not objective. We call on all communities to join the response of the President and the call for dialogue, because the only thing our government aspires to is the path to peace”, emphasized Istúriz.
