President Maduro promotes 375 soldiers of the Honor Guard and the DGCIM


The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led on Tuesday a promotion of 375 soldiers of the Presidential Honor Guard and the General Directorate of Military Intelligence (DGCIM).
Upon his arrival at the Theater of the Military Academy of the Army, in Caracas, accompanied by the Minister for Defense, Vladimir Padrino López; the head of state was welcomed with the respective military honors.
In the act, 491 new Colonels and Navy Captains of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) were also promoted.
Also a total of 3,597 officers in all its categories and 17,900 professional troops of the FANB, were promoted.
