18,396,476 Venezuelans have a Carnet de la Patria

The Vice President for Territorial Socialism, Aristóbulo Istúriz, reported on Tuesday that a total of 18,396,476 Venezuelans have the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card).

During a meeting with the national president, Istúriz explained that the protection of the Homeland Card covers 6 million homes of the Fatherland, 1,416,897 of the José Gregorio Hernández Mission, 482,985 for the Humanized Childbirth Plan, 214,362 for Breastfeeding Plan and 1,105,489 for the Chamba Juvenil (Youth Job) Plan.

Likewise, the Great Mission Households of the Homeland has 56,170 committees formed with a participation of 2,527,650 household head men and women.

For its part, the Plan Parto Humanizado (Humanized Childbirth Plan) has 10,242 promotor women until today, and began to set up in each “Simoncito” (Child care space) a community space for breastfeeding.

“The Carnet de la Patria is the basis of social equality, of solidarity, of socialism, of social happiness and of peace,” said the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, while urging at the same time those with their cards to be on alert next week as he will make new announcements.
