The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting with financial advisers of the Russian Federation in office one of Miraflores Palace, within the framework of the strengthening of the Program for Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity.
After the meeting ended, the Head of State stressed that ideas emerged at this meeting to improve and consolidate the Venezuelan production system in favor of a diversified economy.
“Extraordinary work meeting with the Deputy Minister of Finance and a team of economic advisers from the Russian Federation. We discuss ideas that will help us to perfect the new productive model, to consolidate, definitely, our economic independence”, said Maduro.
The meeting aims to perfect and promote a new economic model and the national financial development in the face of financial blockades promoted by imperial factors and unilateral sanctions imposed by the US and European Union governments, directly affecting the Venezuelan population.
To strengthen this plan, Venezuela has strengthened alliances with countries such as China, Turkey and Russia in order to end the continuous attacks on the national economy that seek to justify an alleged humanitarian aid that would unleash an illegal foreign military intervention.
