2019 National Budget will allocate 75.4% to social investment

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, presented on Tuesday before the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) the Budget Bill for the 2019 Financial Economic Exercise.

She informed that the Budget for 2019 will have 75.4% allocated for social investment and, of this percentage, 25% for food security. At the time she stressed that for the first time, the Petro crypto-currency is incorporated as an accounting unit in this budget.

She explained that this budget protects the Program for Economic Recovery, Growth and Prosperity, and will be of 1,529,780,000,000 Sovereign Bolivars (424,939,016 petros).

In addition, the Vice President presented the draft of the Special Indebtedness Law for Fiscal Year 2019.
