The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, remembered on Friday through his account on the Twitter social network, to Doroteo Arango Arámbula, better known as Francisco “Pancho” Villa “, commemorating 95 years of the assassination of the Mexican revolutionary leader.

Pancho Villa was born on June 5, 1878, and was one of the main promoters of the Mexican Revolution. He fought for better conditions for the peasantry and social equality

In 1910 he joined the armed uprising that had called Francisco I. Madero, against dictator Porfirio Diaz, in the fight showed his talent as a military and strategist.

After the triumph of the Mexican Revolution, Villa remained in the irregular army and during the rebellion of Pascual Orozco, in 1912, raised the suspicions of military chief Victoriano Huerta, who ordered to shoot him.

However, President Madero ordered the suspension of the order and that he be sent to prison, from which he escaped in November that year and fled to the United States, as recalled in November 2015 the Mexican website La Jornada.

Viva Mexico! Death to the gringos! “Was the battle cry of the man who, after being ambushed on July 20, 1923, was killed during a shootout in the city of Parral, in Chihuahia state, while returning to his ranch, a fact instigated by generals who feared a new uprising in arms, as recalled Telesur this Friday.
