GMVV reached 70% of the target set for 2019

The Minister for Housing and Habitat, Ildemaro Villaroel, reported on Tuesday that the Great Mission Housing Venezuela (GMVV) will deliver 2,869 new homes this week to an equal number of Venezuelan families, bringing the social program to 2,102,869 dignified roofs built since 2011.

During the 24th weekly meeting of the Higher Housing agency, he said that this figure represents 70% of the goal set by the Bolivarian Government to achieve award 3 million homes to the same number of families by 2019.

He indicated that for the revival of the GMVV was made available to the National Real Estate a total of 14,000 hectares to develop 1,130 housing projects, “Of which many of them are already underway, to ensure the million homes granted between 2018 and 2019 ”

He also stressed that as part of the revival of the GMVV, through the platform of the Carnet de la Patria (Homeland Card system) 170,000 homes have been assigned.

He recalled that to guarantee the construction of homes in the national territory, last week there were working groups with governors and ministers “to evaluate the services and urban equipments of the GMVV and the goals for the relaunch in the second semester and the allocation of the 75 billion bolivares and 909,090 Petros for the acquisition of construction inputs and thus ensure its vigor”, said Villarroel.

The head of the housing portfolio said that in the coming days will continue with the process of Superior Housing Street Agency, this time from Guárico state.

During the meeting, the minister explained that the Great Mission Barrio Nuevo Barrio Tricolor also adds 727,058 rehabilitated homes, and as part of the legal protection of the people in the popular sectors of the country have been delivered 1,011,338 titles of urban lands.
