The President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Nicolás Maduro, informed that as of this Monday, June 4, starts the 4th congress of this political organization, in order to consolidate socialism in the country.
“Today starts the PSUV Congress, a living congress in the streets and neighborhoods, a dialectical and revolutionary congress; from June 4 to July 28”, he said during a meeting with the party’s leadership in Caracas.
He announced that on July 28, 29 and 30 the plenary session of the delegates of this congress will be held to deliberate and approve the fundamental lines and documents that will govern until 2025, the conduct of the party and the revolutionary transformation of Venezuela.
The national leader highlighted the mobilization of this organization and valued it as the expression of the people in the exercise of politics.
“The PSUV is one of the great expressions of people’s power, of the power of the people, of the exercise of politics, of the search for the instances of our own model”, he said.
