The Candidate of the Ample Front of the Homeland, Nicolás Maduro, in a meeting with the media in Aragua state, reported that during the months of April and May there has been an increase in prices in an exaggerated way to harm the people.
“We must protect the job, the salary, the alimentation tickets, we must put a strong hand against the “bachaqueros” (hoarder-speculators), that’s why we are going to put order in that sense”, he said.
Regarding the new monetary cone to be implemented in the country, Nicolás Maduro stressed that Venezuela is independent of the (International) Monetary Fund: “We do not care, because they are the hitmen of the world, they are responsible for the deaths of thousands and thousands of men and women in the world, that is why we created the Petro, on June 4, the new momentary cone comes into effect, and with that we will burn the hands of the Venezuelan money mafias”, he said.
Nicolás Maduro stressed that the improvements in the economic system of the country will come progressively.
“Only with the support of the people will we be able to advance forward and raise the economy of the country”.
For the candidate of the Revolution, the national and international right wing gets dragged before imperialism.
“We hope that after the great electoral victory of May 20, they will assume this victory, and on Monday (May 21) we will make an act for dialogue and national unity”, he concluded.
