Rodríguez: 29.3 million voters have participated in the last three elections

Jorge Rodríguez, chief of the of Zamora 200 Command, highlighted on Monday that 29.3 million voters have participated in the elections of the National Constituent Assembly, regional and municipal elections, held in less than six months in the country.

He also stressed that a victory achieved by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) in the elections this Sunday, when it won 71% of the total votes and 308 mayorships (92% of the total). “It is the greatest victory in the political history of Venezuela”, he said.

On the other hand, he pointed out that Chavismo won the highest number of mayorships in its history on December 10, when it won the 308 mayoralties, which represents the largest number of such posts in the electoral history of the PSUV. It represents 92% of the charges disputed in the municipal elections, said the head of the Zamora Command, Jorge Rodríguez.

The head of the Zamora 200 Command, highlighted that in the municipal elections of this Sunday was reached a participation of 47.36%, in spite of the electoral boycott and calls for abstention undertaken by some opposition parties.

Finally, he indicated that the political events experienced this year, from the spiral of insurrectionary violence to the municipal elections, point to the disappearance of the Primero Justicia y Voluntad Popular (right wing) parties.

The information was provided during a press conference, on which were evaluated the results obtained in the municipal elections held this Sunday, December 10.
