Accompanied by a mobilization of the Venezuelan people that will depart from the Libertador Avenue in Caracas, the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) will be installed this Friday August 4 in the Elliptical Hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, located in (downtown) Caracas.
The 545 members of the ANC will begin to session, in order to define the new political, economic, social and cultural bases that will contribute to deepen the model of Republic built in the country since 1999.
The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, said that all the preparations for the installation of the ANC go in perfect cooperation on the part of the old National Assembly conformed in its majority by right-wing deputies.
«There is a good spirit of preparation. Everything indicates that the cooperation of the old National Assembly with the sovereign, originary and plenipotentiary National Constituent Assembly is going well from the institutional point of view. Good signs for those who want peace, tranquility and to concentrate solely and exclusively on governing and solving the problems of our people», he stressed during a work meeting from Miraflores Palace.
In that sense, he urged the Venezuelan people to mobilize in peace, tranquility, joy and serenity. «Tomorrow there will be a great mobilization of the people to bring the Constituent Assembly and embrace it with strength and warmth, the energy of the patriot and revolutionary people. Always in peace, let there be no provocations, nor fall into provocations», emphasized the Head of State.
