Revealed document linking Rodríguez Torres to the CIA

Major General Miguel Rodríguez Torres, former minister for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace, collaborates with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States Government.

According to a document from the US agency, Rodríguez Torres agreed to “plead guilty to minor charges in order to receive benefits in exchange for providing information directed to the arrest of important members of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) and military leaders. Retain at least 40% of their property and money in bank accounts in the United States on behalf of Zuleima Medina Rodríguez”.

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, warned during the commemorative central act for the 196 years of the Battle of Carabobo that: “They are pushing on soldiers … there is one of them who works for the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), I have the proof since a long time ago, that’s why I threw him out of the Government. And he speaks in Washington, I have proof of that too”, referring to the military man.
