The Chancellor of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez denounced on Sunday the Secretary of the Organization of American States (OAS) Luis Almagro and Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Videragay for attacks on the Venezuelan delegation traveling to the United States to participate in the summit of the body to be held from June 19 to 21.
“I denounce @Almagro_OEA2015 and @LVidegaray for the attacks and attacks against Vice Chancellor Samuel Moncada and Ambassador Carmen Velásquez”, wrote Rodriguez in her Twitter account.
In another message on the aforementioned digital network, Rodríguez held Almagro and Videragay responsible on the physical integrity of Venezuelan diplomats, in accordance with international law.
Likewise, the Chancellor released a photo that shows the Mexican ambassador to the OAS, Luis Alfonso de Alba, talking with the aggressors, among them Gustavo Tovar Arroyo, a financier of extreme right wing groups, who Participated in “La Fiesta Mexicana”, a meeting held in 2010 in Mexico City, where a coup plot was planned against the Government of Venezuela.
“Gustavo Tovar Arroyo is a psychotic inciter to lethal violence in Venezuela. He participated in La Fiesta Mexicana to train paramilitaries”, she denounced in another message.
Likewise, the Foreign Minister denounced Venezuelan deputy Luis Florido for the attacks against the Venezuelan authorities.
Before this, she emphasized that the “Government of Mexico must clarify if it supports the violent ones that are in Cancún to attack to the Venezuelan delegation”.
“Nothing will stop us from bringing the truth of Venezuela at the @OAS_official and defending our legitimate rights as the Sovereign Fatherland”, she wrote.
