Venezuela and Guinea Bissau strengthen ties of cooperation

The Chancellor of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, welcomed on Monday the delegation of Guinea Bissau, led by Prime Minister Carlos Correia, with the purpose of strengthening cooperative ties between the two nations.
“We welcome you, and we are confident that by narrowing our bilateral and interregional relations we will know to deepen and conclude on a multipolar world,” said Rodriguez while welcoming the delegation.
She mentioned that during this meeting “We have condemned terrorism in its different expressions and have called for the prevention of the causes of terrorism, the causes that have led to the suffering of entire countries”.
This delegation from Guinea-Bissau is scheduled to hold several meetings with Venezuelan authorities and thus strengthen bilateral relations.
Since 2008 Venezuela and Guinea-Bissau have kept bilateral meetings, which reached their highest level in October 2009, when seven cooperation agreements were signed in the fields of health, education, energy, mining, drug, among others.
