Cabello: Obama calls us a threat because we want peace

On Wednesday, the first Vice-President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (Psuv), Diosdado Cabello, referred to the renewal of the Executive Order signed by US President Barack Obama, in which he declared Venezuela as a threat to national security and foreign policy of the United States.

“Mr. Obama before leaving, with his hatred against Venezuela ratifies the decree where Venezuela is (declared) a threat, that is believed by nobody. He definitely calls us a threat because we want peace and they want war. Therefore, we are a threat to those who want war. ”

This was announced by Cabello this Wednesday, during his program number 141 of “Con El Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer), broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), from the Theatre of the “Circulo Militar” (Military Circle) in Caracas.

“If we get to see, Venezuela has been a threat against poverty in all this time of Bolivarian Revolution, not only in Venezuela but in the Caribbean. Where would the Caribbean be now, and how many of those people would not have left for Miami, had Petrocaribe not existed? For that people from nearby countries to have guaranteed the oil they need. And here the right wing criticizes this”, said Cabello.
