The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, denounced that since 17 years ago when the Bolivarian Revolution began, Venezuela has become the center of attacks by imperial forces, due to responding to the social interests of the people and not those of the oligarchy.
“It has been the turn of the Bolivarian Revolution, not because we have sought it, we have become at the center of the imperial attack, a brutal attack that has not yielded a single millimeter”, said Maduro this Wednesday during his participation in the Executive Committee of the São Paulo Forum, which is being held in Managua, Nicaragua.
The Head of State said: “We have applied all the formulas, those which we knew and we had already overcome, and many others. Psychological, political warfare, against the electric system (…) and the fundamental one has been the economic, financial war, of all symbols. The oil war; And the Revolution has demonstrated at each stage its ability to recover”, he stressed at the meeting, which brings together more than 17 international delegations and left wing parties.
