Presidente Maduro: Triumph of Daniel Ortega is the victory of ALBA

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, arrived in Nicaragua on Tuesday to participate in the inauguration of his counterpart Daniel Ortega, in a new five-year term, thus ratifying the support of the Venezuelan nation to the entire Nicaraguan people.

“We came to give our brother, Commander President Daniel Ortega, and our sister Vice-President Rosario Morillo, our embrace of brotherhood and to all the people of Nicaragua all our congratulations for the consolidation of this path of peace, reconciliation and consolidation of this new stage of Sandino’s dream”, said the Head of State from the Augusto César Sandino International Airport in Managua, capital of Nicaragua.

The President recalled that 10 years ago the commander of the Bolivarian Revolution, Hugo Chavez, extended his hand to Daniel Ortega to forge a new history between the two countries: “We came in the name of the people of Venezuela, the people of Bolivar in the spirit of the Commander Chavez, to tell Nicaragua that here we are, 10 years victorious and those that remain. Today more than ever Venezuela and Nicaragua are united”, he said.

“Today we can say, 10 years later, that ALBA and Petrocaribe are from one victory into another, in Nicaragua and in Latin America, it is the Big Homeland”, he said.

It should be noted that it is planned to hold important meetings with some member states of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA).
