The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro, congratulated the people and Government of Palestine, commemorating the declaration of their Independence.

“The people of Venezuela reaffirms the eternal commitment of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and Commander Hugo Chávez, with the joust Palestinian cause, in their struggle for the achievement of a sovereign and independent homeland, free from all forms of imperial domination, as a necessary condition for world peace, ” said the statement.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, congratulates the Brotherly People and Government of the State of Palestine, on the occasion of the Declaration of Independence of the State of Palestine, proclaimed on November 15, 1988, in the city of Algiers, capital of The Democratic Republic of Algeria.
Our Nation celebrates that the relations of cooperation between both peoples are developed in the most ample and cordial conditions, twinning us in the justice that our national heroes dreamed.
The people of Venezuela reaffirm the eternal commitment of the Liberator Simón Bolívar and Commander Hugo Chavez, with the joust Palestinian cause, in their struggle for the achievement of a sovereign and independent Homeland, free from any kind of imperial domination, as a necessary condition for world peace.
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, based on the feeling of brotherhood towards the State of Palestine, reiterates its desire to continue to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between our countries, to continue the journey towards the construction of a multi-polar world and the well-being of both Nations. We join our voices and efforts so that justice reigns in the Palestinian Cause and its legitimate demands.
