PARLASUR expresses support for the dialogue promoted by the Venezuelan Government


The deputy to the National Assembly (AN) for the Homeland Bloc, Elías Jaua, thanked on Monday, on behalf of Venezuela, for the support provided by the parliamentarians of the Southern Common Market (MERCOSUR) to the dialogue between the Venezuelan Government and the opposition.
During the regular session of this meeting held in Uruguay, members of the MERCOSUR parliament (PARLASUR) approved a resolution in support of the dialogue initiative, promoted by President Nicolas Maduro, which began on October 30 with the Venezuelan opposition, in order to preserve peace in the southern nation.
In the 43rd session of PARLASUR,  participated a delegation of deputies to the AN by the Homeland Bloc, among them Jaua, who said: “Let the Venezuelan family, the Venezuelan people overcome, and with God’s will so it will be.”
In an audiovisual material, spread by the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jaua thanked the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), the Former Presidents José Rodríguez Zapatero, from Spain; Leonel Fernández, from the Dominican Republic; And Martin Torrijos, from Panama, mediators of the dialogue, along with a special envoy by the Vatican.
He said that the goal is “To achieve a space of recognition of everyone, to guarantee the Venezuelan People the right to live in peace.”
