Venezuelan Penitentiary System was acknowledged by the UN

More than 120 nations of the world acknowledged Venezuela for its advances in penitentiary matters, as reported by the Minister for People’s Power for Penitentiary Affairs, Iris Varela, while offering a balance of her presentation at the United Nations Organization (UN) on Human Rights.
“This is an undeniable achievement of the Bolivarian Revolution … a precedent is set when our Penitentiary System is not only praised, but (it also) serves as an example for other nations of the world.”
In this regard, Minister Varela said that the positive evaluation demonstrates the fulfillment of human rights in the country and dismisses the false arrays of opinion of those who do not acknowledge the work carried out by the Bolivarian Government in the Venezuelan prisons.
