Vice President Istúriz: The more we produce, the less we import

The Executive Vice President of the Republic, Aristobulo Isturiz, called on Sunday to boost planting and food production in the country, in order to reduce the levels of imports and to optimize the use of currencies of the nation.
Through the account of the Vice Presidency of the Republic on the Twitter social network @ViceVenezuela, Isturiz said that, to defeat the unconventional warfare directed by the right wing against the Venezuelan people, and which includes actions of induced shortages, smuggling and hoarding, the Executive should have governance over the distribution, control of distribution and production.
In the messages written, the senior official referred to the lines of action to be carried out by the Bolivarian Government in the coming months in order to safeguard peace, stability and the socio-economic development of the nation.
The Vice President was on Sunday in Nueva Esparta state, leading a meeting with the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, members of the Government of Nueva Esparta and spokesmen of the People’s Power.
