The deputy of the Homeland bloc, Diosdado Cabello Rondon, got in solidarity this Wednesday with the Venezuelan athletes participating in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, against the taunts and attacks they have suffered as a product of the irrationality of the stateless right wing.
“Youth of the Homeland, of whom we are proud,” said the revolutionary leader in his weekly program “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the hammer), from Cantaura, Anzoategui state.
He also recalled the triumph of Yulimar Rojas, who made history by winning the silver medal after getting a jump of 14.98 meters in the finals of the discipline in the Olympics.
Cabello also highlighted the victory of boxer Yoel Finol, with which was secured the second medal for the Homeland of Bolívar.
With the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, promoted 17 years ago by Commander Hugo Chavez, the athletes received the support needed to build the new generations who represent Venezuela in various sports worldwide, said this Wednesday the Socialist leader.
This was emphasized during his “Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the hammer) program, broadcast by Venezolana de Television this Wednesday from Cautara, in Anzoategui state.
