Chancellor denounced at the OAS coup d' etat to delegitimize President Maduro

“It is being judged a Member State. At what point we have reached in this organization, where the rules are not respected, when the work of the Secretary General of the OAS is to serve Member States, however, the work of the current Secretary General is to harass, and today to accuse the Venezuelan Government, and assume a partiality for a partisan and oppositionist sector in the country. ”
This was stated during her speech at the meeting of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States in Washington, USA, by Chancellor Delcy Rodríguez, who denounced the gestation of a coup d’ etat in this organization, in order to promote the overthrowing of President Nicolas Maduro.
She warned that this instance is being used to disown “the legitimate and constitutional Government of Venezuela, as well as the Constitution, based on a system of participatory democracy in which the citizens are participants in its historical development”.
“They are promoting the coup d’ etat in Venezuela and a disowning of the rules (…) and is being made a very serious substitution of the legitimacy and the active quality that has the Government of Venezuela to invoke this article that, ultimately, seeks the protection of Democracy in the country. “
