President Maduro presents Gold, Silver, and Bronze cups at the 4th International Coffee Meeting 2025

The Simón Bolívar Park in La Carlota (Caracas) hosted the closing ceremony of the 4th International Meeting of Venezuelan Specialty Coffee 2025, an event that brought together producers, baristas, and tasters to celebrate the country’s rich coffee heritage. The meeting aimed to promote Venezuela as a world-class coffee tourism destination.

President Nicolás Maduro led the awards ceremony, presenting the prestigious Gold, Silver, and Bronze cups. During the event, the head of state recognized the effort and excellence of those who are driving Venezuelan coffee toward international quality standards.

The Gold Cup was awarded to Eloína de los Ángeles Useche, from Hacienda Estancia Aires de Campo in Mérida, whose harvest achieved a score of 91.54 points. This award recognizes the excellence of coffee produced in the Venezuelan Andes.

The Silver Cup went to Ricardo Lozada, from Hacienda El Recreo in Carabobo, with 91.03 points. The Bronze Cup was awarded to Roney Durán, from Hacienda The Roros Coffee in Trujillo, with 90.38 points, demonstrating the quality of coffee in various regions.

In addition to these main awards, the president presented recognitions within a national Top 10 list that highlighted the diversity and quality of the beans grown in different areas of the country. The competition showcased the variety of flavor profiles offered by Venezuelan coffee.

The event brought together national and international delegations, reaffirming Venezuela’s commitment to specialty coffee production. The fair included training spaces, tastings, business roundtables and cultural activities that strengthened the Venezuelan coffee identity in the global market.
