The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed that the country has built a true National Power that will sustain its path to peace, work, and prosperity. During an event in the 23 de Enero parish (in Caracas), the President highlighted the progress made on all fronts of institutional power.
The Head of State emphasized the political maturity achieved by the People’s Power, describing it as «a gigantic sun» in the hands of the conscious, educated, and organized people. He stressed that this popular strength is undeniable and constitutes the true foundation of Venezuelan national power.
Furthermore, he explained that National Power integrates the five Public Powers, the People’s Power in each community, and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces. This articulation allows for the identification of priorities, respectful debate, and the execution of projects with a high collective responsibility. In a lengthy reflection, President Maduro affirmed that this power does not lies in a single person, but rather with the people, the Republic, and the entire Homeland.
He recalled that this vision was inherited from Commander Chávez, emphasizing that the Bolivarians are all Venezuelans, without exception. The President was emphatic in stating that «no one respects cowards,» stressing that national strength is essential to command respect for the country.
He reiterated that Venezuelan freedom was conquered through effort and sacrifice, without gifts from anyone. Finally, President Maduro sent greetings to the Bolivarian Military Aviation on its anniversary, describing it as «anti-imperialist and an ally of the people.» He announced that the next step is to transform each commune into a productive territory capable of guaranteeing a dignified life without depending on external factors.
