The Secretary General of the PSUV, Diosdado Cabello, denounced the continuity of cyber manipulation operations orchestrated by opposition sectors. In his statements, he specifically warned about the actions directed by María Corina Machado, whom he identified as responsible for the psychological warfare on social media.
Cabello characterized these operations as a spectacle of manipulation designed to confuse and terrorize the Venezuelan population. He stated that each piece of information disseminated is part of a meticulously planned strategy against the people, describing the headlines as «missiles» and the interviews as «artillery of lies.»
The revolutionary leader warned that this week will intensify the campaigns of distortion and blatant propaganda. He emphasized that these operations are characterized by cheap sensationalism and the manipulation of reality, always at the service of transnational interests.
Cabello explained that the fundamental objective of these media laboratories is to control minds and generate emotional chaos among the population: «Since they lack people support, they want to resort to psychological warfare,» he stated, referring to the methods of the Venezuelan opposition.
The PSUV secretary also revealed that these operations have expanded their international reach, beginning to move in European territory. This geographic expansion represents an additional concern for the Bolivarian government.
Finally, Cabello called on the Venezuelan people to remain steadfast in the face of these media attacks. He emphasized the importance of preserving the truth and love for the homeland as fundamental tools to defeat the psychological manipulation orchestrated from abroad.
