Operation Independence 200 deploys in strategic Caribbean-Orinoco-Brazil corridor

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, activated Operation Independence 200 in the states Anzoátegui, Monagas, and Bolívar, establishing a strategic integral defense corridor that stretches from the Caribbean Sea to the Orinoco River and that extends to the southern border with Brazil.

In an audio broadcast on his official channel on Telegram, the President confirmed that the deployment began at midnight in the Integral Defense Operational Zones (ZODI) of these states. President Nicolás Maduro highlighted the mobilization “of the entire military forces in all their positions with the weapons system and the Bolivarian Militia.»

The Head of State highlighted the effective coordination achieved among the different components of national security, describing it as a «patriotic and national union» that integrates military, popular, and police forces. He qualified as extraordinary the execution of the 27 actions planned for the integral defense of the nation.

The Constitutional President explained that this operation has as its fundamental objective to guarantee the full exercise of national sovereignty and protect the right to life of the Venezuelan population: «Our people is gaining peace because we have the right to peace», stated the President in his address to the nation.

Operation Independence 200 consolidates the defensive capabilities of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces in the eastern region of Venezuela, an area of ​​vital strategic importance for national security and development, reaffirming the commitment to the integral protection of the territory.
