The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, affirmed that the five branches of government in Venezuela are fully and legitimately functioning. During an event in Caracas, he highlighted the proper development of the Executive, Legislative, Judicial, Citizen, and Electoral branches.
However, the president highlighted a central element for the nation’s defense. He emphasized that the fusion of the organized People’s Power and the military power forms the backbone of the country, especially in times of foreign aggressions.
The president defined this union as «Popular-Military Power.» This fusion represents the maximum guarantee of unity, stability, and peace for the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in any scenario.
The statements were made during a working day with the agricultural communities of the El Junquito parish in Caracas. In this context, the Head of State emphasized the importance of transformation and continuous improvement.
To this end, he urged aligning every action with the Plan de la Patria (Homeland Plan) and the initiative of the 7 Lines of Transformation. This plan, in turn, includes 13 productive engines aimed at the economic recovery of all areas of the country.
Reiterating the integral functioning of the State, President Maduro concluded by listing the five constitutional branches. He concluded that the Electoral, Judicial, Citizen, Legislative, and Executive branches are operational and working for the benefit of the Venezuelan people.
