Head of State presents three priority tasks for Venezuela

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, convened the Venezuelan youth to work on consolidating three priority tasks to strengthen People’s Power. The president made this call during a talk with the Youth of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (JPSUV) in Filas de Mariche, Caracas, on the occasion of the seventeenth anniversary of this organization founded by Commander Hugo Chávez.

The head of state presented the Banner of Pizarro, preserved by the revolutionary youth organization, as a symbol of the defeat inflicted on the Spanish Empire and as an inspiration for the victories of the 21st century. The President urged young people to debate and participate in the weekend’s activities, beginning with the consultation on the priority tasks addressed in the Plenary Session of the Socialist Congress.

The first task is to consolidate the capacity to govern by solving problems together with the people, applying the 7Ts and the People Who Solve method. President Nicolás Maduro urged elected officials to intensify their grassroots governance, visiting territories and communal circuits daily to address and address popular needs.

The second task focuses on consolidating a new popular constituent process to transform all of the country’s popular social and communal movements. The goal is to reach 6,000 Communes as a fundamental goal for this constituent process of the working class.

The third prioritized task is the implementation of a community action plan for the integral defense of the nation. This includes preparing the people for active and prolonged resistance, as well as methods of armed struggle in the event of Venezuela being attacked by the North American empire, especially in the face of the nuclear naval deployment in Caribbean waters.

President Nicolás Maduro summarized these three tasks as pillars for socializing, debating, and consulting with the people, with the goal of moving towards the permanent action. He also called on youth enlisted in the Bolivarian National Militia to participate in a special training session this Saturday, September 13, in 312 barracks and military units.

The President reiterated that Venezuela does not threaten anyone, but is prepared to defend its peace and sovereignty. The command is peace, and in order to guarantee it, the people must be prepared to defend it with determination and unity.
