In a firm operational deployment, the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with the Bolivarian National Militia (MNB) and all state security agencies, has received direct instructions to guarantee the comprehensive and total protection of Venezuelan coasts. This mandate was issued by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, as part of the strategy of national defense.
The head of state was emphatic in stating the primary objective of this mobilization: «We must have our coasts from end to end free from imperialists, invaders, and groups of violence.»
This guarantee of protection is materialized with the activation of 284 battle fronts, which are part of the massive deployment known as «Plan Independencia 200” (Independence 200 Plan).» This plan represents one of the most significant mobilizations aimed at strengthening national security and sovereignty in all of the country’s coastal territories.
As part of the strategy, operational action capacity is being increased in all of the country’s cities. The central objective of this civic-military-police alliance is summarized in the motto: «Integral defense, active resistance, and permanent offensive,» seeking to create a unified shield for the defense of Venezuelan sovereignty.
President Maduro concluded his speech with a forceful reaffirmation of national sovereignty, declaring that Venezuela will never humiliate itself or kneel before foreign powers: «We will never be on our knees,» he stated, reinforcing the discourse of independence and self-determination.
To strengthen this comprehensive defense, the government reiterated that the enlistment process for the Bolivarian National Militia remains active. Citizens interested in joining can do so through the Patria System, thus expanding the capacity for resistance and popular participation in national security.
