This Wednesday, flight number 64 of the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan arrived at the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía. The aircraft, originating from the state of Texas, United States, transported a total of 286 Venezuelan citizens who are voluntarily returning to the country.
The group of repatriates is made up of 30 women, 250 men, three boys, and three girls. Upon arrival, they were formally received by the Venezuelan security and social services forces, who applied all established health protocols.
Through this plan, the Venezuelan State reaffirms its commitment to its nationals abroad. The initiative offers concrete solutions to facilitate the voluntary return of those facing adverse conditions and vulnerable situations outside the country.
This humanitarian policy responds to the instructions of President Nicolás Maduro Moros. Its implementation is framed within Article 83 of the National Constitution, which enshrines the right to health as fundamental. Therefore, citizens received preventive medical care and immediate health guidance.
Since its reactivation in February of this year, the Vuelta a la Patria Plan has enabled the return of more than 10,000 Venezuelans. A significant portion of these repatriates come from detention centers in the United States, demonstrating the focus on cases of greatest vulnerability.
The Vuelta a la Patria Plan remains a sustained, supportive, and humanitarian initiative. Its main objective is to guarantee family reunion, social reintegration, and respect for the fundamental rights of all Venezuelans who decide to return.
