The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, has issued a serious allegation: the Venezuelan extreme right wing is planning to carry out new terrorist acts in several states across the country. The warning was issued during his television program «Con el Mazo Dando” (Hitting with the Hammer), where he detailed the destabilizing plans.
The targets of these acts would include the cities of Caracas, Valencia, and Maracaibo. He also stated that there is an intention to carry out actions at a military base located in Guárico state, which would represent a significant escalation in the far right’s destabilization methods.
The political leader directly linked these plans to María Corina Machado. He revealed in one of the segments of the television program that Machado is holding virtual meetings with operatives in Colombia. In this segment, he denounced the use of narco-terrorist tactics and internal pressure with threats to force a coup d’état before December:
«If December comes and they still haven’t been able to carry out a coup d’état against Nicolás Maduro, that would be their end,» Cabello quoted, reflecting the supposed urgency and desperation of the opposition groups. The strategy would have a clear deadline, increasing political tension in the country.
On the financial front, he explained that Machado receives funds from Jalisco (Mexico) and La Guajira (Colombia). These resources would be used for an aggressive communications campaign that includes paying journalists, influencers, and media agents to spread false information in international media, particularly in the United States, seeking to justify a forced intervention.
Finally, the senior PSUV official warned that the central plan persists in destabilizing Chavismo and to fracture the Venezuelan left wing. The communications strategy would focus on spreading rumors of internal division, with the great desire to affect the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), a key institution for the stability of the government.
