President Nicolás Maduro announced the launch of the First Constituent Social Process, aimed at Venezuelan workers, during the closing ceremony of the First Pedagogical Congress of Bolivarian Teachers, held at the Teresa Carreño Theater, in Caracas.
Maduro emphasized that this congress marks the beginning of a process aimed at transforming the country’s syndicates structure, extending to all social and economic spheres. He emphasized that the initiative seeks to overcome the limitations of traditional unionism and encourage the creation of new labor organizations, inspired by the legacy of Hugo Chávez.
In addition, the president recognized the dedication of Venezuelan teachers, who, despite international sanctions, managed to maintain and strengthen public education during the most difficult years.
This constitutional process aims to promote more inclusive and dynamic worker participation in Venezuela’s social and economic transformation.
