183 Venezuelans return to the country on flight 56 of the Vuelta a la Patria program

This Wednesday, flight 56 of the Great Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Mission arrived at Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, La Guaira state, transporting 183 Venezuelans from the United States, with a prior stopover in Honduras.

The group, made up of 163 men and 20 women, was received by representatives of the Bolivarian National Intelligence Service (SEBIN), the Scientific, Criminal, and Criminal Investigation Corps (CICPC), the Bolivarian National Police (CPNB), the National Office for Comprehensive Care for Victims of Violence (ONAIVV), and the Ministry of Health, among other institutions, who verified compliance with biosafety protocols.

The objective of these actions is to ensure these Venezuelans to return home in optimal conditions, as part of the policies promoted by President Nicolás Maduro’s government to facilitate family reunification.

The Great Mission Vuelta a la Patria seeks to provide an opportunity to return to those who left the country due to the effects of the economic war and misleading media campaigns: «Each flight represents progress in rebuilding family ties and a triumph over difficulties,» emphasized the authorities through their official channel on Telegram, on the occasion of this new arrival.
