This Friday, August 1, the Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía received 207 Venezuelans repatriated from Texas, USA, on flight 53 of the Gran Mision Vuelta a la Patria (Great Mission Return to the Homeland). The group, comprised of 160 men, 30 women, 7 boys, and 10 girls, was assisted by immigration authorities and government agencies.
After their arrival, the repatriates passed through an immigration tunnel to assess their legal status and received comprehensive assistance before being transferred to their homes. This process seeks to guarantee a safe and dignified return, in line with the social policies of the Bolivarian Government.
The Gran Mision Vuelta a la Patria is a key initiative to reunite families and ensure optimal conditions for reintegration. This program reflects the Executive Branch’s commitment to the rights of migrants and its desire to reestablish the emotional ties of the Venezuelan community.
The reception operation included the participation of security agencies such as the CICPC, SEBIN, GNB, the Bolivarian National Police, and Civil Protection, ensuring an orderly and safe process for Venezuelans.
With this new arrival, Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to protecting its citizens, facilitating their return, and providing assistance within the framework of the Gran Mision Vuelta a la Patria.
