«In this solemn graduation, where you, young military, assume this oath and the commitment to develop an impeccable military career, you should feel strengthened and inspired by the actions, words, and thoughts of one of the greatest Cadets, Officers, and leaders after the Liberators: our Commander Hugo Chávez,» is the call made by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, to the graduates of the Bolivarian Military Academy.
In a message posted on his social media, the head of state emphasized that July 7th became a special day that shines in the historic city of Caracas, where is commemorated «the 50th anniversary of the graduation of the man who would become the giant of the Americas, our Eternal Commander».
The national leader extolled that with these actions, «the path continues» and urged them to continue «with a determination of steel, with the morale at the highest level ever known, and with a supreme intelligence, which is a perfect equation for a true military leader.» Likewise, he emphasized that, by the hand of the humble young man who received his title earned through leadership, «were resurrected precisely the project and ideals of Bolívar”.
