Head of State delivered letters to the US, China, and Russia for peace initiative

Three personal letters sent to the leaders of the United States (US), Donald Trump, the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, and the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, were delivered by the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, to encourage the initiative of a world peace summit to defuse the threat of nuclear war in the Middle East:

This idea, emerging from the depths of the Venezuelan people, expresses our doctrine of Bolivarian Diplomacy for Peace and the balance of the world, with respect for international law and the restoration of international law,” he reported during the Zona Digital segment of his “ConMaduro+” weekly program.

«We make peace among all, or there will be no peace, I add,» said the head of state, reading the text of the letters sent to the presidents of world powers and to the governments of various countries around the world, in addition to the Diplomatic Corps accredited to Venezuela.

The Venezuelan president emphasized that, from Caracas, a free and Bolivarian territory of the Americas, the initiative to create a nuclear-weapon-free zone in Asia and the disarmament of atomic weapons held by the Zionist regime of Israel is being sent.

Venezuela reaffirms its commitment to Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace :

No one will dislodge us from our proclamation of Peace Diplomacy. We have one voice and one morality; we have Bolívar, Chávez, Guaicaipuro, and Negro Primero, and we are them, and nothing and no one will dislodge us from this position. We are not slaves nor we drag down for any empire. We will uphold the need for a just peace,” asserted the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reiterating his firm stance in defense of peace, without yielding to pressure from foreign powers.

The head of state reaffirmed his commitment to world peace, in addition to emphasizing the urgency of reaching a ceasefire in the Middle East and demanding the nuclear disarmament of the State of Israel, which he described as a direct threat to the stability of the region: “The time for peace has come; the bells of peace must ring, not the drums of war,” he expressed.

The president strongly condemned the warmongering policy of Benjamin Netanyahu’s government, which he blamed for the genocide against the Palestinian people and for fomenting a regional conflict. He added that if the war continues, Prime Minister Netanyahu could begin launching nuclear bombs against Iran: «We are saying this on June 23, 2025.»

He also evoked the history of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, recalling its origins in 1979 alongside the Sandinista Revolution, and denounced historical attempts to destroy it, such as the war waged by Iraq with support from the United States (US) and NATO: «The Islamic Republic had a million martyrs and fought with resistance against the most powerful military apparatus in the world,» he noted.

Regarding the conflict between Palestine and Israel, he emphasized that «the Zionist state was created by the former British Empire and approved by the UN in 1946, stripping Palestine of its territory and its peace.» He also affirmed that Israel is pursuing a project of colonization and supremacy that seeks to dominate Western Asia and its energy resources.

Finally, he warned of the risk of an escalating war with catastrophic consequences. «If the war continues, it could end in a highly destructive, even nuclear, conflict,» he warned.
