The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, categorically condemned the recent US attack on Iran, carried out under the orders of Donald Trump.

The US military action targeted three nuclear facilities located in Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan.

Through a message posted on his digital platforms, the head of state described the bombing of Iran as «a criminal act,» denouncing it as a flagrant violation of international law, the United Nations Charter, and even the laws of the United States of America:

«I categorically and firmly condemn the vile attack perpetrated by the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran. This has been a criminal act that violates the norms of international law, the United Nations Charter, and even ignores US laws, endangering life and peace,» stated Maduro.

The president reiterated that Venezuela condemns the attack on Iran and reaffirmed its commitment to the principles of non-intervention, respect between nations, and peaceful conflict resolution:

«From Venezuela, we raise our voice to advocate for building a world of respect, equality, dialogue, without violence or war,» he emphasized.

In this context, Maduro expressed his absolute solidarity with the Iranian people, their government, and all countries that defend national sovereignty and world peace. The president’s message comes after Trump confirmed, through his Truth Social network, a «successful attack» against nuclear complexes in Iranian territory:

«Peace, peace, peace is what humanity wants,» stated Maduro, stressing the rejection of the Venezuelan people to any form of military escalade: «From the pacifist Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, we say: No to war, yes to peace and life!» he concluded.
