Venezuela condemns US military aggression against Iran

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela firmly and categorically condemned the bombing carried out by the Army of the United States, by request of the State of Israel, against nuclear facilities in the Islamic Republic of Iran, including the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan complexes.

Through a Communiqué, the Bolivarian Government asserted that this attack constitutes an illegal, unjustifiable, and extremely dangerous act of aggression, which flagrantly violates the Charter of the United Nations, international law, and the elementary principles of respect for the sovereignty of States:

«Bombing nuclear facilities, with all the risks it entails for human life and the environmental balance of the region, is an irresponsible escalation that could unleash consequences of incalculable proportions for global stability. It is a direct threat to international peace,» reads the communiqué.

Venezuela reaffirmed its solidarity with the Iranian people and its commitment to peace, sovereignty, and the defense of international law as the only path to coexistence among nations.
