During the 82nd edition of his «Con Maduro+” program, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, reiterated that all governorships that are in the hands of the Revolution “and that truly, truly answer to the people will be turned inside out like a sock so that they adapt to the new times and stop being cumbersome, indolent, and bureaucratic governorships, and become governorships that are connected to the people.»
In this vein, the President noted that the work of governors, from now on, must be based on the method of «less desk, more territory,» with true leaders, with capable and honest people, thus achieving more efficient teamwork.
«Now, a leadership has emerged based on real People’s Power, of ordinary men and women, of their communities, of all sectors,» he stated.
Along the same lines, the Dignitary emphasized that, with the new regional government plan, a wonderful experience will be achieved, because the material delivered to the governors during the Strategic Planning Workshop for the Concrete Action Agendas (ACA) 2030, «less desk, more territory,» is a guide that will help them forge the desired path, because everything is achieved by «learning and doing.»
National Assembly deputies will participate in strategic workshop on June 17:
«Tomorrow we have a workshop with all the deputies of the Simón Bolívar Great Patriotic Pole (GPPSB) and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV),» announced the Venezuelan president, emphasizing that the new National Assembly (AN), which won the election on May 25 and will assume power on January 5, 2026, “must prepare to be better, more powerful, and more hardworking.»
Consequently, he urged each of the AN deputies to take to the streets and listen to the people, to consult with the entire Venezuelan society, and to visit high schools and universities to give their opinions on the future of Venezuela 50 years from now and how it should be reformed to improve, expand, and perfect the Constitution.
In this context, the President also recalled and praised the fact that a Constitution was already written under Commander Hugo Chávez in 1999, “which is now 26 years old and has been the most protective, most functional, most beautiful, and most complete one in the 200-year history of the Republic.»
Therefore, the Venezuelan leader emphasized that the National Assembly faces major challenges, including a very important one for the country: the Constitutional Reform.
