The Government of Venezuela expressed its strong condemnation of the attack on Colombian Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay, which occurred this Saturday in Bogotá.
Through his channel on Telegram, the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, published the official statement in which Venezuela condemns all acts of violence that threaten the political and social stability of Colombia.
In the document, the Bolivarian Government reaffirms its confidence that the Colombian authorities will conduct a thorough and transparent investigation into this unfortunate event.
It also expresses its solidarity with Senator Uribe Turbay, his family, and the Colombian people.

«The Government of Venezuela strongly condemns the attack against Colombian Senator Miguel Uribe Turbay, which occurred on June 7 in Bogotá. We reject any act of violence that seeks to affect the political and social stability of Colombia.
