On July 27th, one year after the third electoral victory of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, will be held the third National Popular Consultation, the purpose of which will be to select projects for the youth sector:
«I come to confirm that on July 27th, blessed Sunday, there will be elections in Venezuela, and we will select the projects of the youth, with the youth, and for the youth. This is the next communal consultation, and it will be for a youth project,» he stated from Petare, Miranda state, where he inaugurated the La Lucha International Tourist Route this Wednesday.
He indicated that this initiative arose after many young people who participated in the previous consultations stated that the projects presented were not related to their sector. In this regard, he suggested to the government teams to held a consultation exclusively for the youth.
«This is so that the communal districts can choose a project for young people, and that project must be proposed by young people, for the young people, and with the young people (…) There are seven projects to be chosen, drafted by young people from the communal district and the commune,» emphasized the head of state.
«Therefore, we must activate youth assemblies in all communal districts. Let’s see what young people will propose; it’s interesting to know what the projects will be,» concluded the President.
