On Tuesday afternoon, a new group of Venezuelan migrants returned to the country arriving from Honduras, bringing the total to 90 citizens, including 11 women and 79 men, with no records of children or pregnant women.
This is the 16th flight under the Vuelta a la Patria (Return to the Homeland) Plan so far this year, which has registered the return of more than 4,000 Venezuelans.
The Venezuelans were received by the head of this national government initiative, Anahí Arizmendi, and by officials from the National Institute of Civil Aeronautics (INAC), the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), SEBIN, and other state entities.
The flight arrived at the Maiquetía airport in La Guaira state, where authorities carried out the corresponding entry protocol to facilitate their return to daily life in Venezuela.
This initiative is part of the government’s policies to protect Venezuelans abroad, promoted by the Vuelta a la Patria Plan.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, Justice, and Peace, this effort has allowed for the reunification of more than 200 families across the country, reaffirming the government’s commitment to those who wish to return to their country.
