Jorge Rodríguez appointed as National Coordinator of the GPPSB Campaign Command for the elections on May 25

President Nicolás Maduro announced this Tuesday that the head of the GPPSB campaign command for the May 25 elections will be Representative Jorge Rodríguez, who will assume national coordination of the electoral machinery.

During a speech, Maduro explained that the National Campaign Command will be formed based on the experience accumulated by the Bolivarian movement and will be structured into six working teams.

The executive secretariat will be headed by Vanessa Montero. The events, mobilizations, and street events team will be coordinated by Nahum Fernández, with permanent support from Juan Francisco Escalona.

The broad alliances and social movements team will be the responsibility of Héctor Rodríguez, with Francisco Torrealba as executive secretary. “Expand, attract, convene, propose, and unite everyone who can be united for the great victory of May 25th,” the president emphasized.

Regarding the electoral machinery and voter advocacy, it will be led by Diosdado Cabello, with Pedro Infante as executive secretary. According to Maduro, this team will apply a new method that combines natural and artificial intelligence.

The 7T program team, focused on proposals for governorships and the National Assembly, will be led by Carmen Meléndez and Ricardo Menéndez.

The electoral strategy, which includes the discursive line and programmatic content, will be in the hands of Cilia Flores and Freddy Ñáñez as executive secretary.

Finally, the communications and propaganda team will be coordinated by Gustavo Villapol, accompanied by Alberto Alvarado as executive secretary. Maduro emphasized the importance of this team working continuously to address the current communications situation.

As part of the national structure, the spokesperson team will be composed of Jorge Rodríguez, Silvia Flores, Tania Díaz, Grecia Colmenares, América Pérez, Génesis Garvett, Blanca Eekhout, Orlando Camacho, Willy Casanova, and Nicolás Ernesto Maduro.
