The Minister of People’s Power for Internal Affairs, Justice, and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, revealed this Saturday, March 22, 2025, that Venezuela managed to dismantle a false positive against the Bolivarian National Navy.
During a press conference, he reported that during Operation “Relámpago del Catatumbo” (Catatumbo Lightning) in Zulia state, Venezuelan intelligence agencies managed to uncover a false flag operation against the Bolivarian National Armed Forces:
«The extreme right wing was planning to stage an international false positive, using boats with fake Bolivarian Navy logos, which would leave Lake Maracaibo in order to be captured in the Caribbean. They sought to defame Venezuela as a narco-state and characterize it as a threat to the empire and the world”, denounced the Minister.
He recalled that the person who has said that Venezuela and Venezuelans are a threat to the hemisphere is María Corina Machado, and sooner rather than later, everyone will be brought to justice:
“President Maduro has been very clear: Venezuela will not be a territory for the transfer of Colombian drugs. We will continue to defeat aggression and defend national sovereignty because we have a responsible government here”, sentenced Diosdado Cabello.
