Countries reject fascism in the world: It threatens humanity

This Tuesday, the first World Congress against Fascism, Neofascism and other similar expressions began in Venezuela, specifically in the city of Caracas, where more than 95 countries proclaimed their rejection of this current existing in 17 nations, and which in their opinion threatens humanity.

The former MEP of the Communist Party of Spain, Manuel Pineda, during his speech assured that fascism is being “fed by social networks, and stated that “they are a focus of hatred, fear and anxiety.”

Likewise, he thanked the Venezuelan Government “for calling us to talk about such a serious issue, if we do not end fascism we will never end the climate emergency.”

The biggest problem is that there are 17 countries whose governments are plagued by fascism. President Sánchez, for example, was the first to recognize Guaidó and put pressure on other governments to recognize him. And now he gives asylum to Edmundo González. There we have fascism,” he said.

An attack against humanity:

For his part, Marcelo Benin, a speaker from Argentina, highlighted to the participants: “Today the heroic Venezuelan people welcome us, to think about what we are fighting, fascism that today is an attack against humanity.”

Fascism does not recognize democracy and that is why it attacks Venezuela, that is why we are here accompanying the Venezuelan people and their president constitutionally elected on July 28, Nicolás Maduro”.

He also highlighted “I come from a country that is going through difficult times [Argentina], because we are being governed by a fascist current that unfortunately was chosen by the people, there we also have certain surnames that are ruining the lives of the people.”

Benin said that in Argentina people who go out to protest against the policies imposed by the Javier Milei government are repressed.

In another order of ideas, Benin pointed out the role of nationalist peoples who fight for their sovereignty: “The nationalism of a people who fight for their nation is not the same as that of a people who put on the imperialist boot to oppress other peoples, so it is a good exercise to think and see these new expressions that we call fascism and neo-fascism”.
