The Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas – People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), Jorge Arreaza, rejected the statement issued by the General Secretariat of the Organization of American States (OAS), on the departure of the former presidential candidate, Edmundo González Urrutia, from Venezuelan territory to Spain:
“You are the ridiculous one, as well as your decadent role as an agent of imperialism that you fully fulfill. You have already far surpassed the record of the hitman (Secretary Luis Almagro) General of the OAS most devoted to the orders and designs of Washington; and look, for a ministry of colonies that record was very difficult to break,” added Arreaza through social networks.
Arreaza stressed that since 2015, Almagro has done nothing but attack Venezuelan democracy and institutions, promote coups, sanctions, military invasion, violence, destabilization, migration and death.
“However, I remember how at the time he flattered President Maduro and how he desperately sought out the Venezuelan delegation to give him support for his election. He would say things like: “Tell MY COMRADE Nicolás that I need to talk to him. I am an admirer and defender of the legacy of Commander Chávez. I will not fail you” he said. Cynical and hypocritical!” he added.
In turn, Arreaza indicated that the positive part is that “you have been decisive in the complete delegitimization of the OAS and both will become dirty company in the garbage dump of history.”
It is worth noting that the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, described this Sunday the departure of Edmundo González Urrutia to Spain as a “forced exile.”
