The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela denounced, this Monday, before the international community the repeated criminal practice of the Government of the United States in illegally confiscating an aircraft used by the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, justifying itself in the coercive measures that, unilaterally and illegally, they impose around the world.
Likewise, the text indicates that this action reveals that there is no constitutional state in the world that is immune to illegal actions perpetrated against international law. On the other hand, it indicated that Washington pressured the Government of the Dominican Republic with its military and economic power “to serve as an accomplice in its criminal acts.»
Once again, illegal operations such as these expose the falsity of the supposed “rules-based order”, which favors the “law of the strongest” over international law. The document also accused the U.S. government of creating rules tailored to its convenience and interests to justify its immoral procedures.
Finally, the diplomatic message emphasizes that Venezuela reserves the right to take legal actions to repair this offense against the nation, as well as the damage caused by the unilateral coercive measures issued by the U.S. Likewise, the document warns that this action is not isolated.
