TSJ certifies presidential election results of June 28 announced by the CNE

The Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) certified the results announced by the National Electoral Council (CNE) on the elections of July 28 in which the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, was elected for the 2025-2031 constitutional term:

«The report prepared by highly qualified and suitable national and international experts, who guaranteed the highest level of technical-legal excellence, unobjectionably certifies the electoral material examined and this Chamber validates the results of the presidential election of July 28, 2024 issued by the National Electoral Council (CNE) where citizen Nicolás Maduro was elected,» ratified the president of the TSJ, Caryslia Rodríguez, from the headquarters of the Supreme Court in Caracas.

This way, she reaffirmed that the result of the expert report ratifies Nicolás Maduro as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela for the 2025-2031 Constitutional term.

At the same time, she urged the CNE to publish the final results of the electoral process of July 28 in the Electoral Gazette, as established by the Law of Electoral Processes. She pointed out that all electoral material submitted by the CNE and the political parties will remain in the custody of the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ.

Likewise, the magistrate mentioned the absence of the former opposition candidate Edmundo González Urrutia in the entire process before the TSJ, and therefore he is in contempt.

The highest court announced this Thursday the result of the exhaustive and in-depth expert reports that began on August 5 to issue the final judgment on the electoral contentious appeal process filed by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.
